Intensive Care Unit

Great Bend Regional Hospital has a 4 bed Intensive Care Unit. Our ICU provides critical care needs for patients. With provider orders, our nurses have the capability to provide continuous monitoring for you and your loved ones. Highly skilled nurses are able to administer critical care IV medications as needed to treat life changing conditions.

Medical / Surgical Unit

Great Bend Regional Hospital’s Medical Surgical unit has 17 private rooms and 2 semi private rooms for patients who are hospitalized for illness, surgery or observation, who are not critically ill. When you are a patient here, you will receive individualized care provided by a team of highly qualified and skilled nurses. Depending on your needs and condition, other members of the health care team may include care from a full time hospitalist. An assortment of healthcare professionals will collaborate to provide patient-focused care and may include a pharmacist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist. Our lab, radiology, and dietary departments complete the healthcare team and are able to provide the services you need while you are in the hospital.  Our team is dedicated to the goal of helping you get better, seeing that all of your needs are met, and assuring you have a great patient experience.
