Jodi Henrikson, MD

Dr. Jodi Henrikson earned his undergraduate degree in zoology from North Dakota State University. He then graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, receiving his Medical Doctorate Degree in 2000.
After medical school, Dr. Henrikson completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. During those four years, more than 12,000 babies were delivered at Akron General. Dr. Henrikson personally delivered more than 800 babies and supervised labor and delivery of thousands more. He performed thousands of gynecologic surgeries, including hundreds of hysterectomies and hundreds of laparoscopies.
Dr. Henrikson earned the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He also was recognized with the Best Overall Resident CREOG Score Award for the annual written exam given to all OB-GYN residents during his second, third, and fourth years of residency. In addition, he received the Employee Satisfaction Award, and passed his written exam to become board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
